A Glad Obedience: Why and What We Sing, by Walter Brueggemann

Chia-An (Victor) Tung is a proud member of the Siraya, one of the indigenous clans of Taiwan. He holds a Master of Sacred Music from Emmanuel College, University of Toronto, where he is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree. Victor serves as a church musician at Toronto Chinese Baptist Church and is actively engaged with the Better Homeland Worship Choir in Toronto. His research centers on the ethnographic study of diasporic choirs, examining how singing and liturgical practices shape their understanding of “the better homeland.”
